BK Fontier Physics Division

The BK Fontier Physics Division has been participating in Phase 1 of the Brain Korea project, and 45 professors from Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, about 300 graduate students, and about 10 emerging researchers are participating. Our project group aims to foster world-class talents for the future with global research sense and insight by raising the quality of research through establishing a student-centered system for education and research that can facilitate creative and interdisciplinary research.

BK21 Four Adbanced Training Program

The project group is comprised of professors majoring in a variety of fields in life sciences, from molecular and cell biology to environmental ecology, and has the great advantage of being able to conduct a wide range of collaborative and interdisciplinary research across fields. Based on this, we aim to “nurture global leaders in the pan-life science field who actively challenge new questions and solve difficult problems through innovative and creative convergence research and revitalization of competitive educational programs”.

With 2I+2C as the operating theme, we aim to train talents who can demonstrate international leadership in the “future earth” which is the most important agenda in the international society, are international and open-minded to assume a pivotal role and showcase cooperation and contribution to society.

Division of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering nurtures key talents who can creatively solve complex and diverse problems in the future society, create culture and environment that create original research and educational outcomes through a foundation of human capital that leads industrial development, and target and secure research excellence and educational competitiveness at the global top 10 level in the field of chemistry with global competitiveness by producing high-quality researchers with excellent expert knowledge and research capabilities in the field of chemistry as part Phase 4 of the BK21 project.
